Using SUSE Manager 3.1.3 here and I have a collection of Salt states that do interesting things. Now I need to apply them to a bunch of servers. It would seem that the obvious way to do this would be to select the servers in to SSM, then go to SSM -> States. When I go there, I see the "highstate" button, but that's it. No way to apply new custom states to this bunch of servers.

As far as I can tell, the only way to apply a custom state is to go server-by-server, saving them one at a time. That can't be right. Am I missing something?

Hi dgersic,

does using the CLI (command line) count, or are you just considering ways to handle this via the web UI?

Hi dgersic,

I think what you want is possible with "System Groups".

Create a System Group and add your servers. Then you will able to add custom states to all systems in this group.
