Hi together,

at the moment my installation workflow is the following.

I am adding new systems with all information (nics, ips etc.) via cobbler cli.
And i have found out how I can use the cobbler variables in my autoinstall profile.

Which is fine for systems with equal specs.

Now I am facing the following situation. I have quite equal systems with a different number of network interfaces.
In the cobbler vars is this nice interfaces object.

Is there any way like a for-loop or some scripting language that i can use in the autoinstallation profile?
In pure cobbler installation and in kickstarts it was possible i think.

Regards,
Matthias

It's also possible with AutoYaST.

See https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/NewFeatures2.1/AutoinstallationTemplates and https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7015474 about special requirements in a SUSE Manager context.
