Hi,

In SLES 11, for sync server with ntp, the command is "rcntp ntptimeset"

What is the command in SLES 12sp2 and SLES 12sp3?

TIA

You should configure NTPd as a NTP Client in "Now and On Boot" start mode. Please read chaptre 24 in "Administration Guide" "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 SP3":
https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles-12/pdfdoc/book_sle_admin/book_sle_admin.pdf

Forget all this manual time sync commands (like ntpdate)!

Be prepared for the change from NTP/NTPd to chrony in SLE15. See:
