Running SUSEConnect --de-register I get this error message:

Error: Registration server returned 'Web and Scripting Module is not yet activated on the system.' (422)

I am running a 60 days trial license. What is wrong?

So had you previously activated the Web & Scripting Module, either
using the SUSEConnect command or via YaST?

What does "SUSEConnect --status-text" report?

Yes, while the SLES 12 installation it has been activated in order to install PHP.
The requested output:

Whilst this going to sound odd I think in order to de-register SLES12
SP3 you'll first need to "register" the Web and Scripting Module. You
can use

SUSEConnect -p sle-module-web-scripting/12/x86_64 -r REGCODE

replacing REGCODE with the same regcode as used for SLES12 SP3.

Once you've done that I'm expecting that you should then be able to
de-register the entire system.

Thank you so much!
Now, this fix has been installed and the message disappeared finally:

Patch: SUSE-SLE-Module-Web-Scripting-12-2017-1893 Kind: recommended Version: 1

The Web and Scripting module was erroneous reported End of Life.

Good to hear!

I'm aware that there have been a few modules mistakenly reporting EoL
but hadn't thought it could affect the registration and/or
de-registration process.

Thanks for taking the time to report back.
