Hi Is anyone could kindly help me about the below problem?
after installed SUSE 11 SP1 successfully, I got one new Monitor HP ZR2440w Monitor.
but unfortunately my SUSE didnt detected this change even I reboot the system.
via the hwinfo, I got the below output for the Monitor:

[Created at fb.71]
Unique ID: rdCR.EY_qmtb9YY0
Hardware Class: monitor
Model: "Generic Monitor"
Vendor: "Generic"
Device: "Monitor"
Resolution: 1600x1200@77Hz
Driver Info #0:
Max. Resolution: 1600x1200
Vert. Sync Range: 50-90 Hz
Hor. Sync Range: 31-96 kHz
Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown

but actully my other friends who are using the same Model Monitor can be deteced by SUSE11.1 successfully.
would anyone could help me how could I force SUSE to detect this change?
Thanks a lot for your support.

Thanks for your reply.
I have opened YAST->Display Setting, but there is NO item which suitble for this Monitor.
in other collegues's YAST Display setting, there is one item under the HPW section which is mapping with the corresponding Monitor.
So Now in my YAST, it is selected as -VESA.
