Hi all,

i'm trying to create software channels and bootstrap repositories for centos 7 in our SUSE Manager (3.2)
software channels are working and are synchronized - now i wanted to create a bootstrap repository for centos7 ...and ... failed :(

i found the doc: https://wiki.microfocus.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/CentOS_Bootstrap_repo

however i cannot download the spacewalk client files from the mentioned link http://yum.spacewalkproject.org/2.6-client/RHEL/7/x86_64/
and ... maybe i'm just searching the wrong stuff - but i can't find the spacewalk client files somewhere else - most websites refer to the same yum.spacewalkproject.org site ... but ... it seems redhat has changed their directories

can someone help me with a short (at best step-by-step) guide how i create a bootstrap repository for centos7 in suse manager?

thanks in advance :)
Andreas

Try one of the repos from
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/spacewalkproject/spacewa
lk-2.8/

Whilst yum.spacewalkproject.org now seems to redirect to
www.redhat.com www.spacewalkproject.org still works (redirects to
https://spacewalkproject.github.io/ ) - https:/
/github.com/spacewalkproject/spacewalk/wiki/HowToInstall might be
helpful.

Hi Simon,

thanks for your help - i found the package and got it working now :)

it also looks like that i was stuck in a wrong direction...
my main problem was (what i realized now) the missing salt packages and their dependencies - i always thougt this will be fixed by the spacewalk files (don't ask why i was thinking this way...)

after adding the salt-packes from below repo i got my bootstrapping working :)
https://repo.saltstack.com/yum/redhat/7Client/x86_64/latest/

thanks again!
Andreas
