Installed SLED 11 R2. Browser FF 10 (FF for SUSE 11) When a document has a hyperlink for a pdf file, click on it, the pdf file is not launched.

What could be wrong?

I don't have a Firefox in english. So I may be wrong.
If you look into the Firefox settings, "Applications" tab, do you have application/pdf and application/x-pdf configured, associated with Mozplugger or Acrobat Reader ?

Didn't you already start a thread about this? http://forums.suse.com/showthread.php?1356-Open-a-link-to-launch-PDF

Do you have Adobe Reader installed? If you do, then in Firefox check what Arnaudk93 suggested. Also if you type
about:plugins in to the location field, is Adobe Reader listed? (It might be listed as acroread, I don't have a machine with Adobe Reader install on to hand right now.)

You say the PDF doesn't get opened, what does happen?
