I removed the contents of /etc/salt on the suse manager in error and no backup is available. As we had just started developing suse manager I decided to reconfigure from scratch which I did. I connected via the browser and did the Organization details however I keep seeing this message when i go to the Overview page. "unexpected error. Please reload the page and check sever logs" I keep getting this. I have checked the logs and nothing is showing that would point to this error. I thought removing Susemanager 3.2 extensions and reinstalling and then reconfiguring would help but there seem to be pre-req issues. How do I remove the SUSE manager extensions or is there another way of fixing this?

Have you reinstalled all salt-related packages ?
/etc/salt is part of the salt package and then when reinstalling suse manager - it get's updated.

In the end I had to re-create the whole VM. Seems a bit silly I had to do this.
