I get these calls a couple of times a week. I've tried to block them
but can't. :-(

Today I dug a little deeper into where these things originate and found
a website with a fascinating story about how Pacific Telecom
Communications Group is making money from these calls, not from the
products that the telemarketer is promoting, but by charging your Telco
a fee each time it displays the caller's callerid - all in apparent
violation of 16 C.F.R. 310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales
Rule.

Since I got rid of my landline and went strictly cell phone, I haven't
received any spam calls. Only a couple of wrong numbers. :-)
