Hi
There is no difference for SLE Server and SLE Desktop;

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (SLES11) i386 | AMD64 will work.

It will work the same, it's kernel related not Desktop related, install
and let it build the modules....

Hi
You need to install SDL from SLED11-SP1-Pool repository, has the
system be activated?

Hi
You need to activate SLE via YaST -> Other -> Novell Customer center
Registration. This will add the online repositories and then you can
install SDL via YaST software management.

Hi
Please don't post the same thing multiple times.

So you installed SLED on this system or did it come pre-installed?

Can you open a terminal and become root user and post the output from the zypper command;

su -
zypper lr
exit

Hi
Strange indeed, what about the output from the zypper command?

How are you connecting the system to the internet? Not using a proxy?
