Hi everyone,
I am beginner about Linux. I bought the Education kit about Android. It executes only Windows.
Therefore, I want to install Virtual Windows on Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 11.

I installed Oracle Vm VirtualBox.There is file extension ".ova" of Windows Xp.
But I got the following error message while installing virtual windows.

There is part named "Virtualization" in SUSE. Can I install to "Virtual Windows XP" this part.

Can you explain step by step please?:)

Hi
What education kit did you get? I use the linux android sdk and
eclipse, adb connects to devices fine....?

You should be able to import the vmdk rather than the other file?

So your install of virtual box is ok, have you tried building or
importing other VM's in your setup?

Hi
Android SDK - ADT - Eclipse IDE is a free download....
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

The ova extension is for VMware AFAIK, install VMware Player (it's
free) instead of virtual box;
http://www.vmware.com/products/player/

If your hardware (as in cpu) supports the virtualization flag, then you
could use kvm, but the above player should be fine...

VirtualBox should be able to import OVA files.

Well the error is saying that VS2010-2-disk1.vmdk is corrupt so it
either is corrupt within the .ova file or there's some other issue that
VirtualBox is interpreting as corruption.

How much free disk space do you have available to your /home/aslanali28/
directory?
