I just installed SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3 Intel64 on an HP Compaq 6000 AIO (All-In-One) PC; these are the same PC's that HP optionally bundles with SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11...

https://www.suse.com/nbswebapp/yesBulletin.jsp?bulletinNumber=135866

However, the Wireless adapter wasn't detected out-of-the-box, and the information I've found on the internet relate to Ubuntu and Fedora rather than SUSE, and I'm wary about breaking this install at the moment.

Is there an official solution for this?

Hi
The server install is different with the amount of modules
present as opposed to the desktop *servers tend to use ethernet). It may
need the kernel-firmware package installed, but you need to check the
output from dmesg command.

Now in saying that HP provide their own repositories for some drivers
with the pre-installed desktop.

There is no official way, but you can always build a kmp based on the
driver in the kernel-source package.
