Greeting All,

I could use some help with a log-in issue on SUSe9 Enterprise Server. I normally CYGWIN into this box from my desktop with no issues. Recently, I am able to enter my username and password at the log-in window of that SUSe9 host, but after my credentials are entered, instead of accessing my xwindow or file manager windows, the login-box just disapears. After a few short minutes, the Suse9 login windows reapears again. It just does does over and over, regardless of what user account I use.

Any ideas to what may be causing this issue?

Appreciate any help..

Rob

Hi
Can you ssh onto the box (eg via putty) and in your user directory
check the .xsession-errors file and also /var/log/messages for some
clues.
