Hi,

We just received a support quote to be able to do SR.

I have a quote for 5 SR pack for XXX$ from May 1st 2012 to April 30 2013.

Are those plan only available for a year ?

If I only do 2-3 SR a year, do I lost all other SR possible requests ?

I'll let Novell give you the official reply, but yes, -its a use it or
lose it plan-. We purchase a 5 SR pack annually, and generally we use
all of them. Now granted, that last month we might open an SR on some
less important issues to burn up any remaining ones. To be honest I
have support contracts with other vendors that cost far more that I use
far less.

Hi,

This is correct. The Academic SR pack expires after 1 year. All of
our Support programs are annual programs.

The quote specify Premium plan. Is there Standard or any other plan or "pay
it when you use it" plan ?

Hi,

We only offer multi-incident plans. We used to offer single incident
options many years back, but discontinued them when we went to our
Premium level incident focus. There might be some Partners who could
offer you single incidents.
