Thread: administrate crm cluster through non-root user

  1. administrate crm cluster through non-root user

    Hi,

    I have added my user in haclient group-
    $ id
    uid=1000(user1) gid=100(users) groups=100(users),90(haclient)

    But still when I run crm status or crm_mon commands they fail with permission denied error -
    /usr/sbin/crm status
    ERROR: status: crm_mon (rc=13): Connection to cluster failed: Permission denied

    /usr/sbin/crm_mon -1

    Connection to cluster failed: Permission denied

    What additional setting I need to be doing to make the cluster managed through my user, which is not root ?

    Hi,

    you can find detailed information about non-root users in the docs? The user required sudo permissions and a passwordless login via ssh.

    Regards,
    Eugen
