Wireless grey in KDE network manager

Sorry to post another thread on this topic. I just installed opensuse and my wireless is not working. I can get to the internet wired but the wireless is greyed out. I have a Vostro 1510. The wireless switch is on. I tried configuring the connection manually through yast, I installed rfkill and unblocked all, i tried installing adapters from what I could read about the vostro and opensuse but I've had no luck. I suspect there is a conflict somewhere but being new to opensuse any help is appreciated.

    rfkill list
    0: dell-wifi: Wireless LAN
    Soft blocked: no
    Hard blocked: no
