    HOW TO SET COMPLEX PASSWORD IN SUSE 10 sp3 or sp2


    Please help me in setting complex password in SUSE 10sp2

    like----
    min length 6 char
    max length 12 char
    special char 1
    numeric char 1

    Is there any way in configuring through GUI....

    Since you've posted in a SLES forum and are referencing SP2 (and SP3) I
    guess you're asking about plain SLES and not OES? I'm also guessing
    you're not using eDirectory on SLES?

    If so, then that rules eDirectory password policies out of the mix but
    you can use PAM.
