    Hi,all:
    How can I unplumb unused nic card in suse 11 sp4 when I run ifconfig or ip command?

    The same way you would on any other version of SLES, or distro of LInux,
    but if "unplumb" means something like deconfigure then you should not use
    those commands at all. Those are runtime commands, meaning they set
    things at runtime and are not persistent across reboots (ever), so to make
    something deconfigured forever you should use Yast:

    Code:
    yast lan
    You could also delete files from /etc/sysconfig/network potentially,
    though that's a bit brute-force-y for me.
