I used the x2go repositories from packages.x2go.org towards the bottom of the page.

They installed fine but when I try and connect to it from a Windows 7 desktop with the x2go client, it attempts to start the gnome sessions and then fails. I see this in the system log:

Code:

This is a SLES 12 SP2 VM on VMware I'm trying to connect to.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

Thanks.

Matt
x2go doesn't seem to work well with recent versions of gnome https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:de-compat
Might be worth to try xfce or some other compatible desktop environmens.
