I want to know is the kernal changed in RancherOS or it is standard linux kernal?

Each release of RancherOS uses the Ubuntu kernel that’s latest at the time. We add a few patches relating to storage on top of the Ubuntu kernel. The patches for the latest RancherOS kernel can be found [here](https://github.com/rancher/linux/commits/Ubuntu-4.4.0-37.56-rancher1). If you have any specific questions relating to those patches, @yasker is the person to talk to.

We’re considering switching from the Ubuntu kernel to using upstream releases.
