# activation problem

Hello:

I download SLES 12 for 60 days evaluation. I try to register the machine with code I obtained from my email, but it always failed in YAST:

62CBC98617A\*\*\*

invalidate registration code…

Could anybody tell me what’s the problem?

BTW, I found that there is no “create file” or “compress” option in right click express menu. Why remove this option? It brings the work extremely inconvenient.

It’s a know issue, if you log in to SCC and press the feedback button  
to report 😉 Will also advise my SUSE Contacts.

Yes, file-roller extension. I packaged it up in my home repo since I  
missed it too…

I get an error with evaluation code:

Registration server error.  
Retry registration later.  
Details: Validation failed: Uuid should be formatted as UUID

And it doesn’t matter what do I use - login or email.  
The code I get from customer center, subscription is already there.
