# Assuming drive cache : write through

Hi,  
Now i have problem after shutdown -h now, i start suse and hang in BOOT with error [sda] Assuming drive cache : write through

@“Phat Dat” Hi and welcome to the forum 🙂  
That’s unlikely to be an issue, you need to log in as root user and investigate more…  
Check the logs for errors, do you see the error on boot?
