# Attach multiple network interfaces to machine

Hi al. We’re creating RKE2 clusters with the rancher2 Terraform provider. While this works great, I’m missing some functionality, or I didn’t find how to do it.

We’d like to attach a second interface to the machines that get created, but it seems that you can only define one `net_id`. Is there any way to attach another one in an automated way?

Extra info: Rancher 2.7.2, OpenStack machines.
