# Change of network parameters

Hello,  
does changes in /etc/sysconfig/network/config requires reboot or restart some service on SLES?

Hi  
You should use YaST to make the changes, this will then handle the  
changes and restart services as necessary. I would imagine a network  
restart would be required.

```auto
rcnetwork restart
```
