# Clarification on cron.action for container-crontab

I am reading the reference usage [here](https://github.com/rancher/container-crontab)

I don’t understand the label `cron.action` with values `start`, `restart` or `stop`, what they do and their use-cases.  
I guess `stop` will just stop the container on schedule. Other two - not so clear.  
Could you please clarify?
