# CPU Idle in fresh install

Hi all!  
I’m trying to get into Rancher and feel a bit weird about the fresh install ive made.

Problem:  
CPU usage is 5% on idle, rancher/rancher docker, rancher process inside.  
1% if only rancher is installed  
5-10% overall CPU when installed node on the same host (rancher’s ports mapped to 8080/8443).

I expected it to idle on 0%…

(running in Hyper-V, 2CPU 2GB 32GB)
