From the lecture:

CRUSH is designed to be aware of the infrastructure
The CRUSH Map includes details of physical & network infrastructure
? The default hierarchical list of infrastructure elements:

- OSD, host, chassis, rack, row, pdu, pod, room, datacenter, region, root
? These elements are known as CRUSH Buckets
+++
I think pdu is “Power Distribution Unit”. What is pod? (Power xxxx xxxx)
Thank you.

Hello, pod is an abbreviation of “Point of Delivery”: in this context, it is a group of PDUs (power distribution units), or a group of rows of racks.
