# Error installing package with Repository

Hi to All,  
I have installed SLES 11 on my Server. Now I need to install some  
packages, for example Perl DBD MySQL and zypper, but the installation  
fails wiyh errors like this:

\*[PK\_TMP\_DIR|dir:///var/tmp/TmpDir.BaWgSp] Repository already exists.

\*Any package I tried to install, an error like this is displayed.

Can You help me ?

Solved!  
In YAST ==\> Installed archives, I have deleted the entry \*[PK\_TMP\_DIR|  
\*and all work fine.

> zypper is installed by default on SLE 11?

Can you check the repository list, the tmp one [repo number] may be in  
there and can be removed;

```auto
zypper lr
zypper rr [repo number]
```

If not just delete the directory in /var/tmp.
