# External DNS / DNSimple update

Hi,  
DNSimple have submitted a merge request at [https://github.com/rancher/external-dns/pull/101](https://github.com/rancher/external-dns/pull/101) , to use their new API as it seems the older version is now discontinued. The merge request has been waiting approval for 2 months now and I believe the service (part of the official Rancher catalogue) no longer works.

Could someone look into it please?
