# Haproxy Loadbalancing Algorithm

Is it possible to make use of _source_ loadbalancing as oppoed to _round robin_ when using the built-in rancher loadbalancers?

I’m fairly sure support through the GUI isn’t there but had wondered if it can be set through anything in compose?

There is not currently any way to do this in the API (and therefore compose/UI).
