# HTTPS UI Security

I’m trying to follow this [page](http://docs.rancher.com/rancher/installing-rancher/installing-server/basic-ssl-config/) but too much difficult, there is not 1,2,3,4, guided step and i cannot understand properly what to do to assure an encription to rancher.

Isn’t there any way to use Rancher in HTTPS mode withself signed certificates without having to put apache or nginx docker containers?

+1 i wish this to someway use letsencript stack for rancher panel its self
