# I have a quick question

HI, everyone im new to the forum, what dose this mean when i make a new
script under the scripts menu suse studio, Like what kind of scripts can
i put there, and what is it used for. thanks

Hi and welcome 🙂
Anything you want done during/after install of the appliance, there may
be some specific routines you want done at every boot, for example if
it’s like a kiosk appliance, clean out the previous user and create a
new home directory etc. Basically anything you want done outside of the
init processes (although that could be done that way as well).
