# Install SUSE manager on Xen

Hi there,

please help me,

I wanted to install SUSE Manager on xen (DomU), so I download the file : SUSE\_Manager\_Server\_1.2.x86\_64-1.2.0-xen.tar.bz2 ([http://download.novell.com/protected/Summary.jsp?buildid=UU3B3\_bJH-Q~](http://download.novell.com/protected/Summary.jsp?buildid=UU3B3_bJH-Q~)),  
and I followed this howto : [http://wiki.novell.com/index.php/SUSE\_Manager/Installation](http://wiki.novell.com/index.php/SUSE_Manager/Installation).

BUT I have this error message when I try to launch the vm : Error starting domain: POST operation failed: xend\_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err “Disk ‘susemanager.raw’ isn’t accessible”)

Do you have any idea why I get this error message and how to fix it ?

Of course I check the md5 of the tarball, the permission on the file and I didn’t see any problem at all…

My Dom0 is a SLES 11 SP2 x86\_64.

My bad…

.xendconfig file need to have the full path of the disk used…  
Maybe we have to warn this in the Installation doc.

/me newbie.
