# Is it possible to increase the session timeout for the web interface?

Just checking if there is a way to increase the session timeout of the web UI so I don’t have to re-logon.

You should be able to go to [http://your-rancher:8080/v1/settings/api.auth.jwt.token.expiry](http://your-rancher:8080/v1/settings/api.auth.jwt.token.expiry) and increase the value (in milliseconds).

The normal value is 16 hours.
