# Linux and Windows clusters

Hello

This is my first post.

We migrated from Tectonic to Rancher and are very very happy with the results.

Our infrastructure is based on 3 controller nodes and 5 worker nodes.

Recently, Rancher have reported the availity of windows clusters.

We would like to know if we can share our server infraestructure with linux and windows K8s clusters.

Can you check if [https://rancher.com/docs/rancher/v2.x/en/cluster-provisioning/rke-clusters/windows-clusters/](https://rancher.com/docs/rancher/v2.x/en/cluster-provisioning/rke-clusters/windows-clusters/) answers your question? If not, can you describe in more detail what exactly you are trying to achieve to give the best possible answer?

You need docker EE if you want to use windows container.
