# Network environment

Hello people…we are studying implement Rancher in our home but we have a doubts in the networking environment. Currently we´re working with switches Nexus, if I implement Rancher is necessary configure vxlan in the switches?.  
I was reading the documentation and I´ve experience in networking, I think it´s necessary but I need confirmation.  
Can you help me please?.
