Hi All, My linux server use HP DL385 suddenly these message appear on putty terminal : Message from syslog@lpdsvrdpo at Jul 8 16:42:01… kernel:[10946626.780572] Uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 2d on CPU 127. Message from syslog@lpdsvrdpo at Jul 8 16:42:01… kernel:[10946626.780573] Do you have a strange power saving mode enabled ? Message from syslog@lpdsvrdpo at Jul 8 16:42:01… kernel:[10946626.780573] Dazed and confused, but trying to continue Those message Do you know what happened ? How to resoved this ? We use HP ProLiant DL385 Gen10 System ROM A40 v1.34 (10/02/2018), System ROM Date 10/02/2018 Since had bought it on March 2019, never do any changes for Hardware or Software. Presumably, since SLES12 SP4 was available in March, you installed the server with SLES12 SP4 (as opposed to say SLES12 SP3 then upgraded to SP4)? Do you recall whether you used a SUSE/HP installation kit as per [https://drivers.suse.com/hpe/HPE-Servers-Gen10/](https://drivers.suse.com/hpe/HPE-Servers-Gen10/) ? This was linked from [https://h17007.www1.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/exceptions/sles\_exceptions.aspx](https://h17007.www1.hpe.com/us/en/enterprise/servers/supportmatrix/exceptions/sles_exceptions.aspx) which lists SLES15 and SLES12 SP3 with latter requiring the installation kit. Unfortunately it doesn’t list later versions of SLES i.e. SLES15 SP1 or SLES12 SP4. I’ll also note there is a newer BIOS available for your server, version 1.44 released at the end of June, as well as an updated HP Service Pack (is that installed)?
