# No logfiles are send to syslog-server

Hallo,  
I try to use syslog to collect my logfiles:  
I configured a server using the options under tools/loging.  
The problem:  
Rancher 20 doesn t send any informations allthough the level is set to debug. The syslog-server is reachable, tested with telnet.  
Can anyone give me hint?

I am seeing a similar issue to yours however I get the following…  
Jun 15 20:20:26 rancher-59f88b5fcc-mfh2j Rancher[6]: Rancher logging target setting validated  
Jan 1 00:00:00 []:  
Jan 1 00:00:00 []:  
Jan 1 00:00:00 []:  
Jan 1 00:00:00 []:

The empty logs just repeat over and over.
