# OpenLDAP Authenticate - mini How to?

On a separate server, I have the OpenLDAP server.

**Advise me mini how to**

1. to make cert.crt
2. specify an external server to connect to OpenLDAP (openldap settings for connecting to the rancher)
3. restart working ranchers server with the settings for OpenLDAP
