In SLES for SAP 15 SP4, in the yast2-sap-ha configuration wizard, watchdog modules are not listed:
Softdog was enables and they are shown in lsmod:

**echo softdog \> /etc/modules-load.d/watchdog.conf**
**systemctl restart systemd-modules-load**

**lsmod | grep softdog**
**softdog 16384 0**

I saw forum posts stating an update of the package can fix the issue, but we have the latest version of package available in the official repos:

**# zypper install yast2-sap-ha**
**Refreshing service ‘Basesystem\_Module\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Refreshing service ‘Desktop\_Applications\_Module\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Refreshing service ‘SAP\_Applications\_Module\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Refreshing service ‘SUSE\_Linux\_Enterprise\_High\_Availability\_Extension\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Refreshing service ‘SUSE\_Linux\_Enterprise\_Server\_for\_SAP\_Applications\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Refreshing service ‘Server\_Applications\_Module\_15\_SP4\_x86\_64’.**
**Loading repository data…**
**Reading installed packages…**
**‘yast2-sap-ha’ is already installed.**
**No update candidate for ‘yast2-sap-ha-1.0.8-3.6.1.noarch’. The highest available version is already installed.**
**Resolving package dependencies…**
**Nothing to do.**

I see that for SP3 and SP5 there are much newer packages available:

How can I install a newer version?

Regards

Given that SLES for SAP Applications is a specialist and supported product I would not be trying to install packages from a different release on your server(s) as you would not be supported.

Instead I think you should contact SUSE via your support channels to raise this with them directly.
