# Permission to access 'https://nu.novell.com/repo/ denied

Recently i started receiving this error when trying to update through yast or zypper.  
all servers are shown as being active in the Novell Customer Center.

Refreshing service ‘nu\_novell\_com’.  
Permission to access ‘[https://nu.novell.com/repo/$RCE/SLES11-Extras/sle-11-i586/repodata/repomd.xml?credentials=NCCcredentials](https://nu.novell.com/repo/%24RCE/SLES11-Extras/sle-11-i586/repodata/repomd.xml?credentials=NCCcredentials)’ denied.  
Visit the Novell Customer Center to check whether your registration is valid and has not expired.

anyone have any clues ?

Looks like the whole authentication is not working. Some weeks ago there was the same Problem, I think we have to wait till it is fixed.

We’re up too early in the morning for Provo. I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon.

It’s been reported to Novell/SUSE.
