# Permissions Question

SLES11 SP3. We have a share on the slew server that only smb authenticated users should be able to connect to. I put a new pc in place and by mistake, mapped to this share on a windows 7 client. I was able to map the drive and move about on this share with no problems. This should not be…

Here are the samba permissions from localhost:901 (SWAT)

Can anyone tell me why i was able to connect without authenticating?
