# Private registry on gluster?

I am trying to deploy a private registry on a gluster storage pool. I have created a glusterfs storage pool called “sharedspace” and am trying to launch the registry service using it as a backing store with.

Since I cannot set the “volume driver” in the registry I am wondering if this is possible?

Did you ever figure this out? I want to use the registry too. I have a stand alone Gluster-Cluster but am unsure how to connect.

Steve Shipway very kindly adapted his community catalog registry to work on convoy which worked for my purposes. I’ve abandoned convoy-gluster due to performance issues that I could not resolve, but have tried to use convoy-nfs with convoy-registry ([https://github.com/sshipway/community-catalog/tree/master/templates/registry-convoy](https://github.com/sshipway/community-catalog/tree/master/templates/registry-convoy)).

I would still like to fix registry to pick up certificates from rancher instead of creating it’s own… but it’s almost there.
