# Problem using ZFS with RancherOS

Hi,

I’ve followed the documentation of using ZFS with RancherOS that I found here in the[https://rancher.com/docs/os/v1.x/en/installation/storage/using-zfs/](https://rancher.com/docs/os/v1.x/en/installation/storage/using-zfs/) docs but when I restart docker using the command shown `sudo system-docker start docker` it fails to work, and docker doesn’t start 🙂

```
xx@yy:~$ sudo docker ps
Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?
xx@yy:~$

```

Any ideas what I have done wrong ? Or is there a more detailed guide to using RancherOS on ZFS anywhere ?
