# program update/install problem

Hi,
I have SLES 11 SP2 for VMeare, When I try to update repository, I get this error messages
“Refreshing service ‘nu\_novell\_com’.
Problem retrieving the repository index file for service ‘nu\_novell\_com’:
Timeout exceeded when accessing ‘[https://nu.novell.com/repo/repoindex.xml?cookies=0&credentials=NCCcredentials](https://nu.novell.com/repo/repoindex.xml?cookies=0&credentials=NCCcredentials)’.”
how can i fix this problem? I need to install some programs…
I run this command
suse\_register -a regcode-sles=XXXXX -a email=my\_email@my\_domain -L /root/.suse\_register.log
Refreshing service ‘nu\_novell\_com’.
Repository ‘SLES11-Extras’ is up to date.
Repository ‘SLES11-SP1-VMware-Pool’ is up to date.
Repository ‘SLES11-SP1-VMware-Updates’ is up to date.

Repository ‘SLES11-SP2-VMware-Core’ is up to date.
Repository ‘SLES11-SP2-VMware-Updates’ is up to date.
All repositories have been refreshed.

Timeout exceeded when accessing ‘[https://nu.novell.com/repo/repoindex.xml?cookies=0&credentials=NCCcredentials](https://nu.novell.com/repo/repoindex.xml?cookies=0&credentials=NCCcredentials)’.
Check if the URI is valid and accessible.
Skipping service ‘nu\_novell\_com’ because of the above error.
Some of the services have not been refreshed because of an error.

Hi
Can you login to the NCC page and remove the system, then re-register.
There were some issues and hour or so ago, you may have tried to
register when this issue was being fixed…

I run “zypper clean -a”
all work fine…
