# Prometeus Stack & Self Signed SSL Cert

Hi All,

I deployed the Prometeus Stack from catalogue and prometheus-rancher-exporter container is failing with this message:

Error Collecting JSON from API: Get [https://my-server.com:8081/v1/environments/:](https://my-server.com:8081/v1/environments/:) x509: certificate signed by unknown authority

So my Rancher server is secured by SSL/HTTPS + Self Signed Cert, is there a way to make Prometeus happy about it?

The self signed crt file is available at the host /var/lib/rancher/etc/ssl/ca.crt
