# Rancher 2 connect to proxy error

Hi everyone,

I tried to register a node in a new cluster with rancher 2 and I got a proxy timeout error as:  
**Cannot connect to proxy**

I don’t understand what’s wrong cause with rancher 2 beta versions, the registration succeeded.

An idea of problem?
