# Run custom script with cron in cattles

I have found the `rancher-cron` repo and other topics about running containers on a scheduled basis, but what I want is to run a custom made script with a simple cron schedule inside my cattles. Is there a way to do that through the UI or any other easy way?

The only thing I can think of now is to `scp` my script to the cattles and schedule it _manually_ with `cron`… but that’s the “lame” way.
