Hi,

I would like to create cluster with Rancher and run conversion of several thousand videos. My idea to is to use FFMPEG create one container per one video conversion. Is there a way to create in bulk all containers and let run Rancher to manage it (for example to limit 10 containers per server and when one will finish another from queue will start)?

I know that docker is more focused on containers which are constantly running.

Is there any idea how to do it in most efficient way?
Suggestions are really appreciated.

Thanks
Jozef

It sounds like you’re asking for this enhancement that is not in Rancher as of today.
