installed SUSE enterprise and now appears that updates are happening once a week and rebooting. need to have this manual only… the yast2-online update IS NOT INSTALLED.
systemd.timer is not as well nor is the updater. Any info would be appreciated. Need to update manually as well for firmware updates

Which “flavour” of SUSE [Linux] Enterprise is this? Server, Micro, SAP, RT, etc.

I’m aware that SL(E) Micro has transactional-update.timer but not SLES.

This is not behaviour I’m aware of or something you want with SAP servers. Is this “vanilla” SLES for SAP Applications 15 SP5? Is the server being managed by some other system which could be changing some configuration files/settings?
